What is Asteris?
Asteris is a mobile app that calculates your birth chart from your birth details, offers daily sky readings, lets you keep a sky journal, and lets you see cosmic compatibility with your friends in "rooms". By using the app, you accept these terms.
For entertainment and self-reflection
The chart readings, compatibility scores, roles and pattern analyses in Asteris are an entertainment and self-reflection tool drawn from the astrological tradition. They make no claim of scientific validation and are not medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice. Don't base important decisions on these readings alone. We deliberately use the language of "tendency"; we don't say anything for certain.
Your account
To create an account you need a valid email address and must be at least 16 years old. Giving accurate account details and keeping your password safe is up to you. You are responsible for everything that happens in your account.
Your content
Your journal notes, birth details and name belong to you. We use them only to provide the app to you. If you add a profile photo it becomes public (see the Privacy Policy). Don't upload someone else's photo or inappropriate content.
Rooms
When you join a room, its members can see your name, your profile photo (if any), your Sun sign and the celestial points allowed by the visibility level you chose in that room; compatibility scores and roles are calculated from these. You can change your visibility or leave the room at any time. The room owner can delete the room. Only invite people you know.
Rules
Don't use the app unlawfully, to disturb or harass others, to harm our systems, or to scrape data in bulk with automated tools. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that break the rules.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account any time with "Delete my account and data" in the Profile tab. Deleted data can't be recovered.
Limit of liability
Asteris is provided as is. We don't guarantee it will run uninterrupted or error-free; to the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damages arising from using the app. This doesn't affect liability for our intent or gross negligence, or any rights that can't be limited by law.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. We announce important changes in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including the competent courts and consumer arbitration bodies, are reserved.
